Abdul Shaiku

With a teaching tenure spanning seven years, Abdul Shaikh has been dedicated to shaping minds in the field of Business Management. His instructional expertise extends across various courses, including Business Management, Project Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and H.R Management at esteemed higher educational institutions in Ontario, Canada.

Abdul specializes in the realm of Online Teaching, catering to both international and domestic students. Proficient in leveraging diverse Learning Management Systems such as Sycamore, Zoom, Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, D2L, and M.S. Teams, he ensures an enriched and interactive learning experience.

Devoted to continuous improvement, Abdul regularly pursues Professional Development Courses, staying abreast of the latest industry trends and enhancing his professional skill set. A proponent of the positive thinking ethos, he radiates enthusiasm and tireless energy in the workplace, inspiring fellow faculty members to strive for excellence.

Abdul’s journey in education commenced as a temporary Part-Time Instructor in the Business program at a private college in Toronto from September 2011 to December 2012. In January 2012, he transitioned into a Full-Time role as a Project Manager at Linamar, a prominent manufacturing plant in Guelph-Ontario, where he remained until December 2019.

While at Linamar in 2015, Abdul took on a teaching assignment at Conestoga College, a renowned community college in Ontario, teaching Project Management and Business Management as a Partial load faculty member. In September 2020, Abdul received offers from two distinguished community colleges in Ontario, marking his current roles as an Associate Professor with Sheridan College in Brampton, ON, and Fanshawe College in London, ON.

Driven to be an effective educator, Abdul is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration with a focus on Project Management. Currently in the ABD (All But Dissertation) status, he anticipates completing his doctorate and obtaining the title of Doctor by August 2022.
