Dr. Marcelus Ajonina holds a terminal degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health Applications, as well as a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. With over 12 years of experience in higher education, he has expertise in teaching both online and onsite learning, utilizing various learning management systems such as Google for Education, Moodle, and Sycamore.
Dr. Ajonina’s teaching career spans several universities in Cameroon, including The University of Bamenda, Biaka University Institute, and St Louis University Institute. Additionally, he has been a visiting fellow at Savannah State University in Georgia, USA. Alongside teaching, he has held administrative positions, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of academic institutions.
As a dedicated researcher, Dr. Ajonina focuses on controlling infectious and non-communicable diseases, addressing issues such as malaria, onchocerciasis, HIV/AIDS, and hypertension. His research expertise extends to research methodology and statistical analysis. Furthermore, Dr. Ajonina has contributed significantly to the academic community, serving as an editorial board member for several journals and boasting over 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
