Dr. Bola Akerele is a distinguished scholar with a strong academic background and extensive professional experience. She graduated with Distinction from Capella University, earning a Doctor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Information Technology Management. Her commitment to academic excellence is further reflected in her Master’s of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the George Washington University and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from Towson University. Additionally, Dr. Akerele pursued further education through graduate continuing education courses at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Dr. Akerele’s research prowess is evident in her published dissertation, which delves into the critical topic of Information Security Breaches and their effects on organizational financial performance.
