Andrade Lola

Bio

With a rich history of coaching students and career professionals on vital life skills such as career choices, customer service, and the art of “Adulting,” Dr. Lola Morris Andrade has found her true passion and purpose.

Dr. Andrade has served in various capacities at Johnson & Wales University in Miami, Florida. Her roles included Experiential Education/internship instructor, Freshmen Seminar & Career Development instructor, and career counselor. Notably, she organized field trips for fashion students to New York City, providing them with firsthand exposure to the fashion industry.

Beyond her academic contributions, Dr. Andrade has a diverse professional background. She has been a U.S. Congressional Aide, served as the director of employee services for the South Florida Workforce, and worked as a team member relations manager in the human resources department of the Fontainebleau (Hilton) Hotel in Miami Beach. Currently, she holds a position in Human Resources for the Federal Government, leveraging her keen attention to detail and hospitality leadership skills. Her reputation precedes her as an HR expert with a natural talent for matching individuals to career positions that align with their talents and personality.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Andrade enjoys fine dining, reading, and considers travel to be the best form of education. Her motto, “Citizen of the World, Live Love and Travel Often,” encapsulates her adventurous spirit.

Dr. Andrade is actively involved in community service, having been a board member for Habitat for Humanity and an alumnus of the Dale Carnegie Institute. She has also contributed to the Big Brother/Big Sister program in Miami, Florida, and is a proud member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Her educational journey reflects her commitment to continuous learning. Dr. Andrade holds an associate degree in Travel/Tourism Management and a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. She furthered her expertise with a master’s degree in Human Resources from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and culminated her academic journey with a Doctor of Education from NOVA Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Dr. Lola Morris Andrade’s multifaceted career and dedication to education and community service make her a respected leader in her field.
