Butera Veronique

Veronique Butera, Ed.D., MBA-Marketing, MBA-Finance, brings a rich tapestry of education and experience to her academic journey. In early 2019, she earned her Educational Doctorate from Capella University. During her doctoral pursuit, Veronique balanced the demands of a full-time position with a prominent communications company, retiring in October 2018 after a dedicated service of over 25 years. This transition marked the beginning of her pursuit of opportunities in higher education.

Veronique holds two Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees, specializing in Finance and Marketing. Her foundation in education began with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, demonstrating her versatile skill set and adaptability to changing life directions.

Having navigated the complexities of life and career shifts, Veronique has been teaching online for over a decade. Her personal experience as both a student and instructor in the online learning environment provides her with a unique perspective and empathy for the challenges and joys of online education.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Veronique enjoys a bi-seasonal lifestyle, spending winters in Florida and summers in Pennsylvania, where her five children and eleven grandchildren reside. In her leisure time, she is an avid reader and cherishes moments spent with her husband and their two retired racing greyhounds. Veronique’s diverse background, commitment to education, and passion for online learning make her a valuable asset in higher education.
