Dennis McDonald is a dedicated educator hailing from Dallas, TX, with a teaching career that commenced in 1999. He is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BBA in Business Administration. Furthering his academic journey, Dennis holds a Th Masters Degree and a PhD in Systematic Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
In his role as an educator, Dennis focuses on teaching Theology, Philosophy, Ethics, and History. He is passionate about instilling in students a broad understanding of critical thinking, aiming for the translation of learned content and principles into practical applications in their lives. Dennis believes in fostering critical rationality and pragmatism based on a strong epistemology across all disciplines, aligning with his overarching teaching philosophy.
Currently residing in Mesquite, TX, a suburb of Dallas, Dennis is a family man, married with one son. Apart from his academic pursuits, he finds joy in his hobbies. He is an avid fan of professional basketball, particularly the San Antonio Spurs, and has a deep appreciation for politics, philosophy, ethics, and history. Additionally, Dennis is a musician, proficient in playing both the guitar and piano, showcasing his diverse interests and talents.
