Bio

With a wealth of experience in the field of Continuous Improvement, I have dedicated my career to fostering positive change and efficiency. Serving as a Business & Industry Instructor for the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS), I played a pivotal role in delivering various continuous improvement applications, including Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, and leadership courses. Covering a vast service area of 58 colleges within 100 counties, I facilitated courses at over 500 different companies, contributing to substantial annualized savings ranging from seven to ten million dollars. Notably, four companies under my guidance received the NCMEP Award for Continuous Improvement.

After my impactful tenure with NCCCS, I continued to champion Continuous Improvement through the establishment of my consulting business, Fite’s Professional Services. Additionally, I assumed leadership roles as the Board Chairperson of the United Quality Management Institute and as the President of the American International Theism University.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am committed to giving back through volunteer work. Nominated by ASQ, I served as a preliminary round judge for the ITEA (International Team Excellence Awards) and acted as an advisor for the Boy Scouts of America Council, imparting Lean Concepts in preparation for a new Merit Badge – Polaris. In my hometown of Landis, NC, USA, I took on significant roles as the Chairperson of the Town of Landis Planning Board and the Board of Adjustments.
