Todd Dexter

Dexter Mark Godfrey Todd stands as a distinguished attorney-at-law, duly admitted to the legal bars in both Guyana and Belize. His journey in legal education was marked by notable achievements in various mooting competitions, including The Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition in Washington DC, the Lex Caribbean Regional Client Interview Competition in Jamaica, and the National Youth Parliament Guyana, where he garnered recognition for his outstanding presentations.

Possessing extensive experience across all realms of law, Todd has litigated over 500 cases since his admission to the bar. Beyond his legal practice, he serves as a mentor and coach to numerous young attorneys and law students at both the University of Guyana and Charisma University.

Educationally, Todd boasts a diverse background, holding a BSc in International Relations from the University of Guyana, LL.B from the University of Guyana, LL.M in ADR from Charisma University, LL.M in International Business Law from Cambria University in London, and an MSc in Fraud and Risk Management from the University of Salford Manchester. He has also been conferred an Honorary Doctorate from CICA International University & Seminary in Houston, Texas. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Law at Charisma University, Todd’s research focuses on “Emerging terrorist financing threats and vulnerabilities posed by new technologies,” under the guidance of Dr. Chinyere Chukwuka, Dr. Bethel U Ihugba, and Dr. Nutcha Sukhawattanakun.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Todd holds the esteemed title of Peace Ambassador, appointed by WHOMI to the United Nations, with the honorific title of His Excellency Dr. Dexter Todd.
